Dr.Walker suggests that the main cause behind lack of sleep and weight gain is not just being sleep derived itself, but the product of what happens to our metabolism’s when you are not getting enough sleep.

Avoid eating 2-3 hours before going to bed as this slows down the release of cortisol.
